Starting on September 21^st, Ameren will begin excavations on their gas line in the road in front of their station on Lafayette by the Bartonville VFW. Because of the extensive digging and work to be done, they will need to close the road to access during the work (*see attached map).   Electronic signs each direction this week letting residents know that the closure will begin next week.  In addition, they will be opening up the excavation at Taylor and Lafayette to complete the final repair at this location.  

We wanted to give you a heads up to make alternate travel arrangements for the next two weeks starting Monday.
